Liviko beverages took top honours in both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic categories at the Estonian Best Food Product competition. Vana Tallinn 35% was named Estonia’s best alcoholic drink, while the functional beverage Tripsy Chillax received the award for best non-alcoholic drink.
“Since the 19th century, Liviko has been known primarily as a producer of alcoholic beverages, but we are increasingly expanding our product development capabilities into the non-alcoholic drinks segment as well. In developing Tripsy, we brought together food scientists and technologists from both Liviko and TFTAK to create a new flavour experience for discerning consumers. The recognition now awarded to Tripsy confirms that we have created something truly distinctive,” said Janek Kalvi, CEO of Liviko, celebrating the double victory of Tripsy Chillax and Vana Tallinn together with the entire Liviko team.
“Vana Tallinn is the world’s most popular Estonian liqueur and one of the country’s best-known brands. That makes it all the more important to preserve the timeless quality of Vana Tallinn as one of Estonia’s flagship brands while continuing to evolve with changing tastes and expectations. The new Vana Tallinn 35%, which was named Estonia’s best alcoholic drink, offers admirers of this true classic an option with lower sugar and lower alcohol content,” said Kalvi.

Vana Tallinn 35% vol, with lower alcohol and reduced sugar content, is the newest addition to the popular liqueur range. Its aroma and flavour combine rich rum, citrus freshness and warm notes of cinnamon bark and real vanilla pods. Compared with the classic version, the new product is slightly softer and less sweet. As always, Vana Tallinn is made exclusively from natural ingredients.
Tripsy Chillax, named the best non-alcoholic drink, is a functional soft drink designed to support relaxation. Its flavour combines herbal tea with delicate notes of reishi and ginger. The drink promotes calmness and relaxation through ingredients including reishi mushroom, along with extracts of valerian, chamomile and lemon balm. It also contains added magnesium.
Tripsy contains plant and mushroom extracts alongside other natural ingredients that give the drinks their functional properties. In addition to the calming Tripsy Chillax, the range also includes Tripsy Euphoria, designed to support alertness and energy.
The Estonian Food Industry Association’s traditional Estonian Best Food Product 2026 competition invited entries of new products manufactured in Estonia and launched during 2025. The awards were presented by Minister of Regional Affairs and Agriculture Hendrik Johannes Terras, Chairman of the Food Industry Association’s Council Veljo Ipits and the association’s head Sirje Potisepp.
