Vana Tallinn Glögg is the best-selling and most popular glögg in Estonia. Warming spices play an important role in the flavour and aroma of the glögg made from the classic Vana Tallinn liqueur and high-quality red wine.
It takes eight weeks for the liqueur masters to make a batch of Vana Tallinn Glögg. The legendary Vana Tallinn liqueur holds the place of honour in the recipe, complemented by delicious high-quality grape wine. Carefully selected spices enhance the flavour of the glögg. The result of this high-precision process is a drink with a really nice flavour and bouquet.
Serve heated. You can also add raisins, nuts, almonds, cinnamon sticks and even a slice of orange if you wish.
A time-consuming production process
It takes eight weeks to make Vana Tallinn Glögg. First, extracts must be made using various herbs and spices. The glögg is then prepared according to the liqueur masters’ recipe, followed by cold-processing and filtration. Only then is the glögg bottled.
The distinctive, slightly spicy flavour of Vana Tallinn Glögg comes from the legendary Vana Tallinn liqueur, of course. You can taste different herbs and flavours, such as cinnamon, star anise, vanilla and a touch of citrus fruit.
The glass bottle is covered with sleever coating that protects the drink from light and retains the high quality of the glögg for longer. The design of the bottle is inspired by crisp Nordic winter evenings, when pleasantly spicy flavours can help you warm up.
