Viru Valge is the oldest and most popular vodka in Estonia, marked by traditions and history extending back half a century. Viru Valge, with its soft clean taste, is made from pure grain and specially prepared water.
VIRU VALGE VODKA
Viru Valge is made from grain grown in stony Nordic fields and from crystal-clear water. The genuine taste and high quality of Viru Valge are due to alcohol distilled from pure grain and specially prepared water.
Viru Valge is made from carefully selected grain according to a recipe developed by Liviko’s masters and has been in production since 1962. Throughout the history of the beverage, its symbol has been a resolute hornblower in a Mulgimaa folk costume, meaningfully facing west.

Carefully selected grain
Viru Valge is made according to a recipe developed by Liviko’s masters from pure grain alcohol and specially prepared clear groundwater.
The hornblower
The hornblower has been the inseparable symbol of Viru Valge since the creation of this premium vodka in 1962. Calling people together by blowing a horn is a long-standing tradition in Nordic folklore.
Sustainable production
The Viru Valge bottles are produced in the Järvakandi glass factory, only 85 km from Liviko. Glass bottles collected from recycling are reused – more than half of the glass in the Viru Valge bottle is recycled.
