Vana Tallinn Ice Cream named Favourite Future Star
Vana Tallinn Ice Cream, from Liviko’s Vana Tallinn cream liqueur series, was named the Favourite Future Star at this year’s Best Food Product in Estonia awards. Vana Tallinn Ice Cream is an ice cream-flavoured cream liqueur in which the liqueur makers from Liviko have combined the flavours of the legendary Vana Tallinn, fresh cream and ice cream.
“We were surprised that Vana Tallinn Ice Cream liqueur, which is one of our premium products, won in the brand new Favourite Future Star category,” said Janek Kalvi, the director of Liviko AS. “We’re glad that the other future stars were delighted by the nuances of flavour in the newest member of our traditional product line and voted for it.”
In addition to Vana Tallinn Ice Cream, the Vana Tallinn cream liqueur series features the classical rum- and citrus-flavoured Vana Tallinn Cream, the coffee-flavoured Vana Tallinn Coffee Cream and the chocolate-flavoured Vana Tallinn Chocolate Cream.
This was the 21st time that the Best Food Product in Estonia was named during the annual conference of the Estonian Food Industry Association. For the first time, a special award was presented in the Favourite Future Star category. The products were evaluated in terms of their taste, smell, texture, packaging, novelty and commercial success.
