Estonian colour-changing gin grabs silver in London
Reputable International Wine & Spirit Competition, that has now been running for 49 years, awarded Liviko’s very own Crafter’s Aromatic Flower Gin with the silver medal.
London’s finest competition hosted numerous spirit crafters with more than 600 gins competing. It’s remarkable that gin, at the peak of its popularity, has an Estonian product among the finest examples in the world right now. Crafter’s Aromatic Flower Gin competed in the Contemporary Style category that includes trendier and more innovative beverages. Gins were blind tasted by more than 400 judges from more than 30 countries. Liviko’s gin was acknowledged as a fine and truly high quality product.
Crafter’s Aromatic Flower Gin is an elegant, refreshingly aromatic and flowery gin. Its unique combination of 12 carefully selected herbs include rose hip flowers and meadowsweet that are characteristic to Estonian coastline. The sweet nuances of the flower petals are balanced by the bitterness of orange peel, freshness of yuzu and juniper berries. However, its magic isn’t limited to taste! Its elegantly copper colour turns to pink when mixed with tonic. All thanks to natural rose hip petals.
