Synergy of the great: Eesti Kontsert and Liviko signed an exclusive cooperation agreement

Liviko, Estonia’s largest alcohol producer, becomes a major sponsor for Eesti Kontsert and the prestigious Saaremaa Opera Days. With the new collaboration, the popular New Year’s concert will be named the Rémy Martin Eesti Kontsert New Year’s concert.

“The beginning of cooperation between the two largest and oldest national organisations in their fields in Eesti Kontsert’s anniversary year has symbolic significance. It is gratifying to have companies with a sense of mission that stand for the same values as us – having a solid cultural layer and a viable cultural scene, making Estonia a beautiful and good place to live,” said Kertu Orro, the director of Eesti Kontsert.

“Business and culture both need freedom for development, but certainly also each other’s support. At Liviko, we consider it important to be a reliable partner for Estonian culture, and that is why we are starting a meaningful cooperation with Eesti Kontsert,” said Janek Kalvi, CEO of Liviko AS.

Liviko will also have the exclusive right to sell its brands at all Eesti Kontsert concert halls in Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu and Jõhvi.

The Eesti Kontsert Foundation is the largest and oldest concert organiser in Estonia, celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. Eesti Kontsert manages concert halls in Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu, Jõhvi and St. Petersburg and consists of two resident creative groups, the unique Estonian National Male Choir (founded in 1944) and the early music ensemble Hortus Musicus (founded in 1972).

Established in 1898, Liviko is a rapidly developing international group specialising in premium alcohol, retailing its own products on 60 markets and representing the world’s leading premium brands in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Liviko has its production and head office in Tallinn along with distribution offices in Riga and Vilnius. Liviko is one of the largest alcohol companies in the Baltics and pays equal attention to the export and import of alcoholic beverages in addition to production. The Liviko Group employs 270 people.
